Are Delta Power Tools Any Good?
Question: I just bought a pre existing home that needs work. I need to buy some power tools and I see my local tool store carries Delta tools. Are Delta tools any good or should I look elsewhere?
Answer: I've owned and currently own several Delta tools and I can tell you that they are quality tools. I've had my Delta bench grinder and drill press for nearly 10 years and they just keep on running! Although a lot of hardware stores like Lowe's and Home Depot will carry Delta tools, I suggest you buy them online. I often save twenty bucks or more by buying my tools online and in many cases, I can get free shipping! Most orders will arrive in under a week.
Also, Delta tools carry a good warranty, probably one of the best in the industry. You'll find many Contractors and shops using Delta tools due to their durability and their ability to stand up to long hours of use. Not a whole lot of inexpensive tools can say that. My Delta drill press and Delta grinder get used nearly every day and I know when I flip that switch, they're going to come on and work the way they're suppose to.
